Create a compelling blog post. Be sure to create helpful and share worthy content. Then get ready to share, share, share!
.) Go to Buzzsumo and type in the subject you blogged about. Look at the social shares to the right. What are the important most SAVE to social feeds? Take note and keep this in mind when you are ready to share next time your create a compelling post.
.) Share on your personal Facebook page.
.) Share on your business and or group Facebook page.
.) Tweet a small sentence and link on your Twitter. Use 1-2 hashtags that best describe your post content. If your URL is super long, a URL shortener like Bitly works great.
.) Share on Pinterest. Even if it is a wordy article, be sure to have a lovely photo to represent your content and share on Pinterest. People use Pinterest as a bookmarking app. It is a very visual social sharing platform. Be sure your image represents and is share worthy. Keep in mind, their followers may see the post they saved. Then when another person logs on to Pinterest and has shown interest in business your pinned image will show up for them to pin. I love this about Pinterest.
.) If you want, and feel Instagram is a social platform you want to share your content on share there also. Be sure the photo is attention grabbing and share worthy. Instagram is all about the image. In my opinion, most instagram posts seem to go unread. So keep it short and sweet. If you are in the wedding industry, and feel totally lost on Instagram and Pinterest, I highly suggest working with Brenda. I have known her ever since I started my Custom Art & Painted Paper Goods business 18+ years ago and she is lovely! Check her out: Brenda’s Wedding Blog
.) Create a StumbleUpon account and add the StumbleUpon extension to your computer browser. Once your create a blog post, this will make it fast and super easy to share on StumbleUpon.
.) Get pinging! Go to PinGoat and add your blog. Check all and PinGoat will share for you.
.) Create an account at Bloglovin’ and claim your blog there. Add a Bloglovin’ link or badge to your blog. Once you create a post, your Bloglovin’ account is automatically updated for you. Easy peasy!
.) Ask a friend to share your blog post! Sharing is caring and any good friend will be happy to help your content go viral.
.) Last but not least, be sure to have Social Share buttons on each blog post. If you do not have them, you are missing out of FREE advertising. If your guest reads and LOVES your blog post they may want to share right away which equals FREE advertising for you. No share buttons, no sharing. My favorite sharing buttons, at the moment are Simple Share Buttons Adder. It is a free WordPress plugin you can easily add to your blog.
After you complete this list. Sit back and relax. Your blog post has gone viral! Hats off!
