Fake Moustaches are they Hair to Stay?

Fake Moustaches are they Hair to Stay?

This morning as I awoke, I thought FAKE MOUSTACHES at weddings! Where did this idea come from? I made it my mission this morning to tackle this tickly trend. And why oh why is this trend sticking?

It turns out. It’s all in the name of FUN!

Fake moustaches on a stick, on your finger, or painted on. There are many ways to wear them.

{Vivienne Westwood}

Fake moustaches appeared on the runway in 2008. This look reminds me of Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. Step back a bit further in time to about 1910 when Charlie Chaplin first sported the fake moustache in efforts to disguise his youth. Groucho Marx first drew on his fake moustache with grease paint. See a trend? All of these chaps have made us laugh. Therefore my conclusion, humor is where it’s at. Why are they wearing fake moustaches at weddings? They do it for the laugh. They have a great sense of humor. So if you find yourself sticking your nose up in the air at this trend. Loosen up a bit. Give a giggle and enjoy. Laughing is GOOD for you!

If you are featuring the fake moustache at your wedding, send us photos! Later we will post what we have. :-{D

Where to buy the ORIGINAL moustache on a stick >

A big shout out ‘thank you’ to my twitter friend  Barb McMillen (aka DrSophi)  for helping me research this trend in a quick manner. As I only wanted to dedicate about 1 hour to  this subject.

Custom Blue Crab Pocket Folder Wedding Invitations

Pinch me!

Sara received her custom blue crab pocket wedding invitations and just emailed us!!! …

“Thank ya’ll so much for all of your work on the invites. I just put them all together and I couldn’t be happier!”

The blue metallic pocket folder invitations open to a 2 layer invite with lovely navy raised ink. The watercolor blue crab grabbed Sara’s attention right away! So fun and creative.

How did this custom wedding invitation design start? Sara wrote to me and said, “I LOVE the blue crab artwork you did. … What else can you put the crab design on?  Do you have any other samples with the crab on it?  Thank you! Sara.”

I asked Sara what style of invite she loved on our site… she replied she loved a pocket folder wedding invitation. From there she told us the colors, and where she wanted us to place the blue crab motifs. Not ONE of her friends had ever seen this design as it was custom created for Sara. Now THAT makes her wedding invitations TRULY unique!!!
